Opportunities Available
As a Human Factors Engineering Intern you will contribute to the design and development of products offered by Stryker Emergency Care. You will work as a part of cross-functional product design and development teams to champion the perspectives of our users and help to design products that are intuitive safe and effective to use. This includes conducting human factors analyses planning and conducting usability testing and using human factors principles to provide data-informed design recommendations.

- Application of human performance data to real-world product design recommendations
- Design development and documentation processes for medical devices
- Real-world collaboration with cross functional partners in areas such as interaction design industrial design engineering quality and marketing

What You Need
Currently pursing a degree (Masters preferred) in Human Factors Engineering Biomedical Engineering Industrial
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
Must be legallyauthorized to work in the U.S. and not requireemployment-basedsponsorship now or in the future.
Engineering Cognitive Psychology or a related field
Experience or demonstrated interest in product development (medical device design preferred) user research and usability testing
Understanding of biomechanics human performance and/or cognitive processing models
Foundational skills in research & experimental design for usability testing and user research
Data analysis (qualitative & quantitative) and communication (oral and written) skills
$20min hourly wage $35max hourly wage sign-on bonus 11 paid holidays annually and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend dependent upon hiring location
