We are seeking a Substitute Teacher to support our Middle and High School classrooms. The ideal candidate should be adaptable comfortable stepping into diverse learning environments and possess broad foundational knowledge across general subject areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional support across 6th12th grade classrooms as needed.

  • Facilitate lesson plans effectively across multiple subject areas (Humanities STEM Arts etc.).

  • Maintain a structured engaging and supportive learning environment.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field required and a valid teaching credential required. Experience teaching literacy writing math science and social studies is essential along with the ability to differentiate instruction to support diverse learners. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong classroom management skills and creates a warm structured and positive learning environment uses assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth and communicates effectively with students families and colleagues. A collaborative flexible reflective and student-centered approach is essential along with a commitment to supporting the academic social and emotional growth of each child and an interest in being part of a mission-driven Jewish day school community.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $30/hr.
