36 college credit hours
Completed Missouris 20-hour online substitute training program
Nice-to-Haves- Skills and qualities that are a plus but not necessarily a requirement
Successful experience in an elementary or middle school setting
Fluency in French Mandarin or Spanish
Responsibilities
In this position you will report to the school building each day. This is not an on-call substitute teaching position. Assignments vary by building needs.
Oversee various areas of classroom instruction following guides provided by the classroom teacher.
Lead whole class small group and individual learning.
Collaborate with the entire K-8 team to promote higher levels of learning for all students.
Monitor student culture and safety.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is competitive and starts at $37450 depending on years of experience. The salary increases depending on the number of years of experience you have. Oursalaries are well-above market rate: SLLIS salaries are higher than 90% of public schools in Missouri. SLLIS also offers the following:
