Position Purpose:TheSubcontracts Administrator Iwillbe responsible forthe managementand oversight of category specific major technically complex subcontracts and related activities in support of Blue Canyon Technology customer programs. This position willparticipatein bothsubcontractmanagementand commodity specific category suppliermanagement. Additionallythis role willentailsuppliersourcingleadingRFPandproposalevaluationsnegotiationsandmanagementofthe supplier throughout the subcontract life cycle with responsibility for the supplier relationship and contractual performance.

JobResponsibilities:

• Executeandmanagecategoryspecificminorlow to mediumdollarspacesegment/subsystemsubcontracts.

• Responsibleforallaspectsofcategorysubcontractexecutionfromsolicitation through award and closeout under guidance of Senior Subcontracts Administrators

• Responsibleforleadingthedevelopmentofcategorysupplierstrategicrelationshipsand alignment of suppler capabilities to mission requirements. Develop andmaintainrisk assessments performance tracking and to drive supplier performance to subcontractrequirements.

• Authorand reviewlong-formsubcontract Bills of Material (BOMs)statementofworkdocumentsto ensureaccuratesubcontract placement

• Responsible for supplier sourcingRFQs/RFPslead supplier proposal evaluations; employ value analysistechniquestoanalyzecost/pricetechnicalcapabilityandfinancialviabilityinvestigate suppliers ability to perform within the proposed cost technical and schedule parameters.

• Negotiate pricing delivery schedules and standard Terms and Conditions for low-risk subcontracts

• Identifysupplierriskandopportunitiestoachieveprogramobjectives;developriskassessments manage supplier risk through targeted negotiation strategies/plans in conjunction with the Subcontract Management Team/technical leads; lead subcontract negotiations.

• Owns the management of supplier contractual performance throughout the subcontracting lifecycle;resolvesupplierperformanceissuesandanyinternalBCTissuesthataffectsupplierperformance

• Escalate complex contractual technical or commercial issues to Senior Subcontracts Administrators as appropriate

• Represent Supply Chain Management at various levels on cross functional teams to drive businesssuccesscultivateandmaintainstrongworkingrelationshipswithsupplierscustomers and internal stakeholders.

• Perform all subcontract administrative and management functions including modifications manage subcontract funding track subcontractor spend plan milestone payment plans cash flow and monitor variances; evaluate accuracy and authorize payment of invoices; solicit EngineeringChangeProposalsreviewPrimeContractmodificationstoincluderelevantchanges in subcontract modifications

• Ensurethatallbusinessisconductedusingthehighestethicalstandardsandincompliancewithall applicable laws statutes and regulations as well as company policies and directives.

Qualifications/Education:

• 8 years or more related experience with Supply Chain/procurement experience including executionandoversightofcosttypeandfirm fixedpricesubcontractsinsupportofDoDand/or NASA customers.Is 8 years the standard for a SCA I or can the years of experience be reduced

• BS/BApreferred

• Abilitytoeffectively relatewithothersandcooperateasateammember.

• Demonstratedabilitytobuildeffectiverelationshipsatalllevelsoftheorganization

• Experience reviewing engineering drawings specifications statements of work or technical documentation preferred

• AdvancedFAR/DFARknowledge.

• Stronginterpersonalandorganizationskills.

• Stronganalytical negotiationandcommunicationskills(bothoralandwritten)

• Priorexperienceasasubcontractsmanagementprofessionalata1stor2ndtierAerospace& Defense contractor preferred.

• Relatedtechnicalexperiencemaybeconsideredinlieuofeducation

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
