Job Title: Data Quality Assistant
Data Quality Assistants will support the CISHOT Program and Data teams by monitoring data. This
involves reviewing campus data on the state database to ensure it meets state and local standards. Data
Quality Assistants will use Excel to track specific pieces of outlined data which vary month to month.
This will then be submitted to both the Campus Program Director and the Grants & Management
Director.
Duties and responsibilities
Review data entered in the CIS database
Complete a monitoring spreadsheet for specific campuses as assigned by the Campus Program
Director to document accuracy with outline local and state standards
Submit data monitoring spreadsheets to the Campus Program Director and the Grants &
Management Director.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with CIS staff
Maintain a working knowledge of CIS policies and procedures
Maintain complete and accurate documentation
Other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
Enrolled in Baylor University and must be federal work study eligible.
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic computer proficiency including foundational Excel skills
Strong focus and attention to detail
Ability to function in diverse job situation.
Ability to transport oneself to and from the work site.
Must complete and clear Criminal Background Check.
Compensation
Starting at $12.00/hour; $1.00 increase for each returning year
- Work with local organization(s) or community partners
- Provide excellent customer service as a representative of the University
- May assist with planning organizing and implementing community services or programs
- May assist with various projects activities or tasks related to community projects
- May contribute to developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external partners
- May serve as a source to provide information about resources and assistance related to community program(s) or service(s)
- May serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
- Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information
- May prepare and present information in a group or workshop setting
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
