This recruitment will be used to fill eight part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Landscape Maintenance Worker positions for the Facilities Services Landscape Shop at Oregon State University.

Position Duties:

The applicant will be expected to perform landscape maintenance activities including:

• Pruning weeding mulching mowing planting pavement cleaning leaf removal litter removal manual watering and snow/ice removal.

• Operate power equipment such as mowers weed-eaters edgers and backpack blowers.

Required Qualifications:

• Teamwork strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather stand for long periods of time and able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong preference for applicants available to work up to 40 hours per week during Summer

• Experience in landscape maintenance is preferred.

• Previous work history outdoors including physical labor.
