Job Title: Student Information System and Operations Specialist

Status: Non-Exempt Full Time

Summary/Objective
Reporting to the Registrar the Student Information System and Operations Specialist supports the Registrars Office with the execution auditing planning process review and the evaluation of all aspects related to initiating and completing functions for the Registrars Office. This position will also assist with the maintenance monitoring and improvement of the SIS (Jenzabar) functions. This is an on-campus position.
Essential Functions
- Perform general office duties to include but not limited to data entry assisting students during registration greeting visitors answering phones etc.
- Serve as an administrator for the Jenzabar SIS managing system configurations maintenance optimization and ongoing enhancements in support of registrar operations.
- Maintain Jenzabar functionality including reports rules permissions and automations.
- Lead the continuous assessment and optimization of Jenzabar functionality by researching new futures best practices and system enhancements to maximize platform capabilities.
- Monitor troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration and data issues across Jenzabar.
- Establish and maintain Registrar standards through regular auditing ensuring accuracy and reconciliation of registration graduation and enrollment data.
- Collaborate with Information Technology Applications Development Institutional Research Student Financial Services and Admissions on system enhancements integrations and strategic initiatives.
- Develop documentation standard operating procedures and training materials for Jenzabar users across the Registrar team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to train team members on SIS functions and proper use.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and functional areas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Accurate and efficient data input skills with an eye for detail.
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and software.
- Experience working in a highly collaborate diverse environment with the ability to maintain confidentiality of data.
- Maintain a broad knowledge base about the College its programs and opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities or direct reports.
Work environment
- Office Setting: Cubicles open desks or private offices with access to necessary tools like computers phones and office supplies.
- Remote Setting: Working from home or another location with access to virtual communication platforms and necessary technology.
Physical demands
- Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation.
- Typing/Computer Use: Frequent use of a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Vision Requirements: Ability to read and view screens for extended periods.
- Speaking/Hearing: Regular communication with coworkers and clients in person over the phone or via video calls.
- Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally lifting or moving items up to 10-15 pounds such as office supplies laptops or documents.
- Reaching/Bending: Periodic reaching for or bending to access files supplies or equipment.
- Mobility: Walking short distances within the office or to meeting rooms.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Higher Education Registrar or Jenzabar data operations preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing data processes and systems in a complex collaborative environment.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. MSMC does not sponsor employment visas at this time.
