Student Facilities Maintenance (Fall)

Position Introduction:

Fitness and Recreation strives to help all student employees develop their career readiness upon graduation. Student Employees are applying academic learning by developing workforce competencies per The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines which are:

Required Education and Experience:

This position is for employment during Fall 2026 semester. Training will begin immediately upon hire and could begin as early as August 2026.

Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.

Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Job duties will include but will not be limited to:

• vacuuming
• dusting
• scrubbing
• emptying trash
• cleaning restrooms and locker rooms
• other duties as assigned.
• Will respond during emergency situations.
• Customer service.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Must have a current/valid drivers license.
• Selected applicants will be required to become CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Training will be provided by the hiring department.
