While we are actively interviewing candidates for the Summer 2026 Student Engineer role we anticipate offers being extended around February of 2027 with a June 2027 start date. Official start date to be confirmed with the successful candidate.

Student Engineers work under the direction ofProject EngineersProject Managers andCAD Designers providing design and production support on a variety of projects including:
Preparing plans exhibits and figures forland developmentandpublic infrastructureprojects
Assisting withgrading utility stormwater and street design
Supportinghydrology and hydraulic calculations
Performing quantity take-offs basic cost estimating and data entry
Learning to use design software includingAutoCAD Civil 3Dand Microsoft Office tools
This role offers the opportunity to build a strong technical foundation while gaining exposure to real-world project development from concept through are looking for candidates who:
- Are currently pursuing aB.S. in Civil Engineering(or related field) from anABET-accredited university
- Have completed (or are currently taking) coursework insite design hydrology transportation or stormwater systems
- Have exposure to or an interest in learningAutoCAD Civil 3D
- Demonstratestrong communication skillsattention to detail and a desire to learn
- Thrive in ateam-oriented client-driven work environment
- AnEngineer-In-Training (EIT)certification or intent to pursue one is a plus
- Software used in this role may include AutoCAD Civil3D Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) HEC-RAS HEC-HMS XP-Storm and WaterCAD.
