Student DevSecOps Assistant

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a DevSecOps student that is motivated to contribute and learn DevSecOps principles and technologies. A successful candidate should be enthusiastic and comfortable learning new technologies as well as adhering to existing processes. We are looking for someone who can stick to a task and pull from many resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs implements manages and documents DevSecOps pipeline tooling from end-to-end following established industry standards
• Helps establish secure reusable solutions and processes
• Supports a Software Factory via build pipelines and associated tooling
• Assists in migrating the current on-premises environment to Azure
• Follows direction from DevSecOps team members
• Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Required Qualifications:

• Currently studying in computer science information systems or related fields
• A desire to learn DevSecOps information technology software development and build management systems
• Experience coding or scripting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with team members
• Must be a US citizen
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with common coding tools and software development environments such as Linux Git VSCode GitHub Jenkins and Docker
