Job Summary
Job Description Summary
Student will assist the PhD Program Manager with projects for the PhD in Education program including data entry Internet research scanning and organizing paper files to digitize records program event invitations assisting with reviewing updates to the PhD in Education Canvas Den and other duties as assigned such as updating the PhD calendar and uploading various forms instructions and handbooks. This position is 5-6 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Perform data entry data compilation and document formatting. Conduct internet research to support departmental projects and initiatives. Scan organize and maintain paper and electronic files. Assist with program event invitations event preparation and related administrative support. Review and update content in Canvas Den. Provide clerical and administrative support for departmental operations. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to retrieve and verify accurate information. Ability to learn and apply departmental processes procedures and systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues effectively. Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain a professional courteous and friendly demeanor when interacting with students faculty staff and visitors. Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and dress. Familiarity with internet browsers web-based applications and online search tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace applications including word processing spreadsheets presentations and shared drives/folders. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
