Our client an established structural and miscellaneous steel contractor is seeking experienced Structural Steel Erectors / Field Installers / Welders to support commercial field installation projects.

This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working on active construction sites can read structural drawings and have hands-on experience erecting fitting connecting and welding structural and miscellaneous steel.

• Erect and install structural steel components including beams columns channels angles and related assemblies.
  
• Install miscellaneous metals such as stairs railings ladders platforms lintels embeds supports and other fabricated steel items.
  
• Perform field welding fitting and modifications as required by site conditions and project drawings.
  
• Bolt connect align level and secure structural steel during installation.
  
• Read and interpret structural drawings erection plans shop drawings and installation details.
  
• Perform field layout and verify measurements and dimensions prior to installation.
  
• Operate boom lifts scissor lifts and other equipment used for steel erection and field installation.
  
• Coordinate installation activities with field supervision project management site personnel and other trades.
  
• Follow OSHA standards fall-protection requirements and all applicable job-site safety procedures.
  
• Complete field installations accurately safely and in accordance with project specifications.
