Our client an established structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication company is seeking experienced Structural Steel Fabricators / Welders to join its shop team.

This opportunity is best suited for fabricators who are comfortable working independently from drawings laying out and fitting their own work and producing accurate high-quality steel assemblies in a production shop environment.

• Fabricate structural steel components such as beams columns channels angles plates and related assemblies.
  
• Build miscellaneous steel products including stairs handrails ladders frames supports and custom fabricated items.
  
• Read and interpret structural drawings shop drawings fabrication details and weld symbols.
  
• Perform layout measuring fitting tacking and welding of steel assemblies.
  
• Complete MIG FCAW and stick welding as required by the project.
  
• Cut drill grind cope and prepare material for fit-up and final fabrication.
  
• Check dimensions alignment and completed assemblies against drawings and specifications.
  
• Safely operate common fabrication equipment shop tools and material-handling equipment.
  
• Maintain quality accuracy and productivity while meeting established shop standards.
  
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe organized work area.
