About the Role

The client is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design analysis and optimization of structural components used in water and wastewater treatment equipment.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team you will apply structural engineering principles to develop safe reliable and cost-effective designs that meet customer specifications industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects while supporting product innovation and manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and analyze structural components equipment supports frames and foundations.
• Prepare structural calculations engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Develop design improvements that enhance product performance manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Process Manufacturing and Project Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during project execution including engineering clarifications and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable structural codes engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on product design manufacturing efficiency and standardization.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or a related engineering discipline.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license.
• Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of structural engineering principles design codes and industry standards.
• Experience using structural analysis and design software.
• Proficiency with CAD software for engineering drawings and design documentation.
• Strong analytical problem-solving organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing structures or equipment for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience supporting industrial equipment process equipment or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with fabrication manufacturing or field installation support.
