We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform stress analysis on new and revised subsystem routing designs within the F-35 airframe

• Analyze and assess wire harness routing hydraulic tubing and coolant line installations

• Conduct static strength assessments of:

  • Brackets

  • Clamps

  • Shelves

  • Pressurized tubes

  • Welded tube assemblies

• Evaluate tube deflection and routing clearances to ensure system isolation from surrounding structures and neighboring systems

• Work directly with design engineers to communicate engineering requirements and verify compliant product designs

• Utilize classical engineering analysis methods automated analytical tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support design validation

• Develop run and analyze Finite Element Models (FEM) using:

  • HyperMesh

  • Nastran

  • Patran

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics

• Experience in Subsystem Stress Analysis and Routing

• Experience developing running and analyzing Finite Element Models (FEM) using HyperMesh Nastran and Patran

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with strong interpersonal communication skills

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
