Store Lead Part-time

Shoe Carnival is looking for a motivated customer-focused Store Lead to oversee an area of the store. This role is perfect for someone ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership position.

What Youll Do:

• Lead a department (such as Womens Mens and Childrens departments) and support overall store standards

• Greet and assist customers with a positive helpful attitude

• Train and guide associates on service product placement and cash handling

• Handle transactions returns and safe/till counts as needed

• Organize merchandise displays and help with truck unloading and floor moves

• Promote current sales and programs

• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team

What Were Looking For:

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example

• At least one year experience in retail sales or cash handling (preferred)

• Ability to learn and operate the POS system

• Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays

• Must be at least 16 years old

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand walk and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts

• Comfortable bending squatting and reaching for merchandise

• Able to move quickly in a fast-paced store environment
