Store Attendant

Los Lagos Golf Course located in Edinburg TX is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for aâFull-Time Store Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. General Purpose:

Assists customers with purchases at the General Store.

Essential Duties:

• Performs opening and closing procedures for the general store.
• Participates in the inventory process.
• Processes sales transactions utilizing cash registers. Process both cash and credit card transactions.
• Ensures store items are stocked regularly.
• Balances and prepares end of shift audit and receipt report based on established procedures.
• Participates in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
• Assists customers with questions and concerns and locating items.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Frequently will stand and walk; uses hands; talk or hear. Regularly will reach with hands and arms. Occasionally may sit; climb or balance; stoop kneel crawl or crouch. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in extreme cold or heat (non-weather). Regularly works in areas near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally may come into contact with toxic or caustic chemicals and may risk electrical shock. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

Sanitation Training. Alcohol Service Training. (Must meet state age requirements for the service of alcohol.)

Job Knowledge Skill and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
