Steward Supervisor

The Stewarding Supervisor role is to supervise the day-to-day operation of the department for a given shift. The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for the control and distribution of operating equipment maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards supervision of all utility pot washer dishwasher and worker assignment :Determines work procedures prepares work schedules and expedites workflowAssigns duties and examines work for exactness neatness and conformance to policies and proceduresStudies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinatesResolves associate issuesBe able to read banquet menus and perform set up proceduresResponsible for all personnel under his/her supervisorResponsible for the proper cleaning rack and distribution of all china silver and required standards of sanitation and and reinforces operating procedures with his/her breakage of circulating :Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a timeAbility and willingness to push pull lift up to 50lbsAbility and willingness to stretch and reachAbility to effectively lead a teamMust be able to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekendsFood Safety certification required
