Position Overview

The Stewardis responsible for maintaining cleanliness sanitation and overall hygiene throughout kitchen and back-of-house areas in support of all food and beverage operations. This role ensures that all equipment utensils and workspaces meet the high standards expected in a Five-Star luxury hotel environment and plays a critical role in supporting culinary and service teams.

What Youll Do

Dishwashing & Cleaning Operations

• Wash sanitize and properly store dishes glassware cutlery pots pans and kitchen utensils.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are clean functional and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors walls drains sinks and work surfaces.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with hotel policies and environmental guidelines.

Kitchen & Back-of-House Support

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep work when required.
• Maintain proper inventory of cleaning chemicals detergents and supplies.
• Set up and clean kitchen stations before and after service periods.
• Ensure all trays tools and equipment are ready for service.

Hygiene Safety & Compliance

• Follow HACCP food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Identify and report hazards malfunctioning equipment or maintenance issues.
• Comply with allhoteloccupational health and safety standards.

Teamwork & Operational Support

• Work closely with kitchen food & beverage and housekeeping teams to support smooth operations.
• Assist with proper storage rotation and handling of supplies.
• Support banquets special events and high-volume service periods as needed.

What Youll Bring

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Prior experience in a hotel restaurant or catering environment preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures kitchen equipment and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to follow instructions and standards.
• Awareness of health hygiene and safety regulations.

Licenses or Certificates

• Food Handler Certification required.
