Slammer & Squire at WGV located in Saint Augustine FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Steward at the King and Bear! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofâTroon youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Essential Duties:

• Washes andsanitizes:China Glass Silver Cooking equipment and tools bothin a dish machine or by hand.

• Assistsin stocking and rotating of incoming food and beverage products.

• Assistsin basic food preparation as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager.

• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properlydisposesof garbage.

• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.

• Performs daily cleaning to include butnot limited to dry storage walk-in shelving steam tableshoodsand exhaust system.

• Maintains sanitation standards in assigned areas.

• Sweeps and mops floors.

• Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdown.

• Followssafe work practices in job performance.

• Regular and reliable attendance.

• Performs other duties asrequired.

Education/Experience:

No prior experience or training.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands walks uses hands reaches with hands and arms. Regularcommunication.Occasionally sits climbs balances stoops kneels crouches crawlstastesor smells. Frequentlylifts upto50pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Frequently works in extreme heat (non-weather) in areas with moving mechanical parts and with toxic or caustic chemicals. Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather).Noiselevel is moderate.
