Position Summary
As a Sterile Processing Technician for STERISyoullwork behind the scenes of healthcare facilities in afast-paced environmentimpactingpatient safety without being patient in the Sterile Processing Department you will support surgical procedures by ensuring medical instruments are clean sterile organized and available for the surgical team.
This is an onsite role based in Durham NC supporting afternoon shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday.
What youll do as a Sterile Processing Technician II:
- Reprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated cleaned inspected sterilized correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case
- Operate sterile processing washers sterilizers ultrasonic and drying cabinets
- Participate in regular on-site training
The Experience Skills and Abilities Needed:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year Sterile Processing experience with CRCST or CBSPD certification or 2 years experience
- CRCST or CBSPD certification (or willing to complete within 12 months of hire)

Pay range for this opportunity is $20.84 - $26.97.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors including but not limited to local labor market costs years of relevant experience education professional certifications foreign language fluency etc.
