Position Summary
A SIGN -ON BONUS OF $4668 IS AVAILABLE FOR THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT OF THIS POSITION PAID IN 2 INSTALLMENTS WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF HIRE : $2334 WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE DATE & $2334 12 MONTHS AFTER HIRE DATE . Performs maintenance and repair in the areas of plumbing steam systems and welding. Position will be a welder for maintenance within Facilities Services for the repair of existing facilities steam or plumbing-related building systems and the fabrication of necessary components taking direction from the Plumbing Maintenance Supervisor for all maintenance welding including the repair needs of all other Campus Maintenance Shops as need or available. * A valid North Carolina Drivers License or ability to obtain one prior to start date. Also requires a NC State Inspectors License or the ability to achieve certification within six months of hire.
