This is more than a coffee shop position. It is an opportunity to lead a team drive results develop future leaders and create memorable experiences for hotel guests travelers local professionals and visitors to downtown South Bend.

As the Starbucks Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations coaching and developing team members maintaining Starbucks brand standards and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. You will lead from the front setting the tone for the team while creating an environment that is welcoming energetic and focused on excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily operation of the Starbucks café.

• Coach train and develop baristas to ensure exceptional guest service and product quality.

• Maintain Starbucks standards for beverage preparation food presentation cleanliness and customer experience.

• Assist with scheduling inventory management ordering merchandising and operational planning.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitation and health regulations.

• Address guest concerns professionally and effectively.

• Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability growth and teamwork.

• Support hiring onboarding and performance management initiatives.

• Monitor labor and operational efficiency while maintaining service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks coffee shop hospitality food service or retail experience preferred.

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for guest service and team development.

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Availability to work flexible schedules including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
