Standup Forklift Operator Distribution Associate II (1st Shift)

As a Distribution Associate II specializing in standup forklift operation you will support warehouse distribution activities under general supervision. Your role includes operating forklifts handling shipment and receipt of materials and ensuring accurate documentation in a dynamic environment.

• LOCATION: Orlando FL 32824
• POSITION: Contract
• PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
• HOURS: 5:00am to 1:30pm

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment such as standup forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
• Receive goods verify items against shipment records and inspect their condition.
• Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with picking packing shipping and receiving.
• Ability to operate forklifts; standup forklift experience preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Must wear steel toe boots.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.
• Basic reading writing and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
