Job Summary
- Lead development for an end to end solution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
- Design develop and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability scalability and resilience of software applications especially within a distributed systems context
- Work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
- Collaborate with the team to define and document software engineering processes and practices ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- 10 years of post-grad industry experience including but not limited to electrical engineering aerospace engineering or systems engineering
- A passion for systems design development integration and test
- Hands-on prototyping troubleshooting and build experience
- Experience developing automated test scrips and frameworks using a common language (eg. Python MATLAB etc)
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A sincere commitment to a positive inclusive and collaborative culture
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for test planning and executionand excitement to work onsite at our headquarters in Costa Mesa CA the rest of the time!
- Already hold a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher
- Hands on experience with complex robotic systems
- Familiarity with IP-Based networks
- Experience with mission systems including communications systems and components
- Familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations
US Salary Range
$191000 - $253000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
