Job Description:
Position Summary

As a Staff Software Engineer you will lead the design and development of our next-generation web applications. You will work on massive-scale systems that power Walmarts e-commerce and retail platforms. You will collaborate with product data science and design teams to build high-performance tools and services used by millions of people.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Systems: Design and build scalable full-stack web applications using React and GraphQL.
• Lead Strategy: Set the technical direction for front-end architecture API design and data orchestration layers.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure applications are highly responsive accessible and optimized for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor Engineers: Guide and coach mid-level and senior engineers through code reviews design docs and technical pairing.
• Drive Collaboration: Partner with product managers and UX designers to turn complex business requirements into clean functional code.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in React TypeScript state management and modern bundlers.
• Backend Expertise: Strong background building scalable services and microservices using .
• API Design: Proven success designing and implementing high-throughput GraphQL APIs schemas and resolvers.
• Data Integration: Comfort working with relational and non-relational databases caching layers and event-driven data streams.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (like Microsoft Azure or GCP) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex ambiguous technical challenges.
