Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead core platform architecture including multi-modal APIs real-time event systems AI orchestration layers and data infrastructure.
• Architect production-grade agentic and conversational AI workflows (LLM integrations retrieval pipelines tool orchestration and evaluations).
• Translate ambiguous product bets into clear engineering roadmaps and drive technical initiatives.
• Establish engineering standards for service contracts observability and reliability across the organization.
• Mentor senior engineers and integrate AI-native workflows (Claude Code Cursor) across the engineering culture.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: More then 8 years of engineering experience operating as a Staff Software Engineer
• 01 & Scale: Proven track record taking products from 0 to 1 at scale and owning critical domains end-to-end.
• Hands-on Architecture: Exceptional system design capabilities combined with active daily hands-on coding skills.
• AI-Native Mindset: Daily deep usage of frontier AI tools (e.g. Cursor Claude).
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and React.
• Education & Location: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field; ability to work on-site 5 days/week in San Francisco.
