You will own the web as acustomer-facing product and a business system: shaping the journeys people experienceexpanding high-quality top-of-funnel discovery across our product portfolio and building thetechnical and measurement foundation that allows us to learn and improve quickly.

This role requires a strategic builder who can operate without a pre-existing playbook. You will make consequential prioritization decisions turn ambiguous opportunities into a coherent roadmap and lead across Product Design Engineering Data Product Marketing Search Engine Optimization Brand and Growth. Your success will be measured by the outcomes the web experience creates not by the volume of pages launched or requests completed.

• Set the web product vision and roadmap. Define the long-term strategy for and related web properties. Establish how our web surfaces work together as a portfolio which audiences and jobs they serve and where we should invest to create the greatest customer and business value.
• Expand product discovery and top-of-funnel reach. Create new ways for people to discover Postmans full product suite capabilities use cases and solutions. Identify underserved audiences and high-potential entry points then turn them into intuitive scalable web experiences.
• Own the most important web journeys. Map and improve the end-to-end paths from first visit throughevaluation and entry into the product. Reduce friction clarify value and ensure the handoff between thepublic web experience and the authenticated product feels coherent.
• Build a trusted analytics and attribution foundation. Partner with Data and Engineering to defineinstrumentation event taxonomy source and campaign attribution identity stitching funnel reporting anddecision-quality dashboards. Ensure we can understand what is working for whom and why.
• Lead privacy-aware measurement. Have a strong point of view on first-party and third-party cookiesconsent management browser restrictions data retention and regional privacy requirements. Balancemeasurement quality user trust and compliance when making product decisions.
• Make technical search optimization a product capability. Own the product strategy for technicalsearch (agent) engine optimization including site architecture crawlability indexation renderingstructured data internal linking redirects canonicalization and large-scale content or domain migrations.
• Raise the bar for web performance and quality. Set clear standards for page speed Core Web Vitalsaccessibility reliability responsiveness and cross-browser behavior. Work with Design and Engineeringto make craft and performance reinforcing rather than competing priorities.
• Lead through influence. Bring together senior partners across Product Marketing DesignEngineering Data Science Analytics and Search Engine Optimization. Communicate strategy decisionsresults and learning to executive audiences with clarity and conviction.
• Build for a global audience. Develop a thoughtful approach to internationalization and localization sothat Postmans web experiences can perform across markets languages and regional customer needs.

Your foundation is product management. You bring enough fluency across growth marketingdesign analytics privacy and web engineering to lead effectively at the seams but you have builtyour career by owning products and outcomes.

• Staff-level product leadership. You have 8 years of product management experience includingsignificant ownership of customer-facing web products or digital experiences at scale. You have setstrategy built roadmaps and delivered measurable results in complex organizations.
• Demonstrated outcome ownership. You can point to web experiences you personally led thatmaterially changed customer behavior or business performance. You explain the problem strategicchoices tradeoffs shipped solution measurement approach and resulting impact.
• Deep web product expertise. You understand how modern websites are designed built renderedserved measured and evolved. You can partner credibly on content management systems front-endarchitecture server-side and client-side rendering content delivery networks release workflows andtechnical dependencies.
• Strong technical search and agentic optimization fluency. You have hands-on experience using information architecture and technical search engine optimization and AEO to improve discovery at scale. You understand the implications of URL design site hierarchy internal linking structured data crawl budgets rendering redirects canonicalization and indexation.
• Web performance expertise. You understand page performance Core Web Vitals accessibility andreliability as product concerns. You know how performance affects discovery experience and outcomesand can make informed tradeoffs with Engineering and Design.
• Measurement cookies and attribution fluency. You understand browser and cookie behaviorconsent management first-party data anonymous and authenticated identity tag managementattribution limitations and privacy-aware analytics. You can diagnose gaps in measurement rather thantreating dashboards as ground truth.
• Experimentation and quantitative judgment. You are fluent in funnel analysis experiment designguardrail metrics statistical interpretation and post-launch learning. You know when to test when not totest and how to connect a program of experiments to a larger product strategy.
• Exceptional product judgment. You can move between long-term strategy and detailed executionidentify the few decisions that matter most and balance customer value business value technicalcomplexity brand craft and speed.
• Cross-functional gravity. You can walk into a room of competing senior stakeholders and leave italigned on what will ship what will not and why. You influence without relying on formal authority andcommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer empathy for technical audiences. You are curious about developers technical teams andhow they evaluate and adopt tools. Experience with developer products APIs business-to-businesssoftware or product-led growth is strongly valued.

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $240000 to $275000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidates skills qualifications and experience.

At Postman we value in person collaboration. We are in office 5 days a week for all roles based out of our hubs in San Francisco Bay Area Boston Austin New York City Tokyo and London. For roles based in Bangalore employees currently work in the office three days a week and will transition to five days per week by the end of the year.
