Job Summary
As a Customer Qualification Engineer your primary role is to provide support for customer qualifications on our datacenter SSD products on behalf of our engineering and development teams. Primarily this support is requested by Product Support Engineering team with some requests coming directly from the customer. During the product qualification phase you will provide support on test plan development and execution failure analysis and status reporting. This includes ensuring all hardware and software components of the qualification are in place and ready for execution reporting on execution and issue status and participating in update meetings.

Responsibilities:
- Manage complex qualification infrastructure from multiple customers
- Plan and drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule
- Perform failure triage on any issues found during the qualification
- Work with the respective Product Support Engineer to ensure alignment of tasks
- Drive issues to resolution in a timely manner
- Write test status reports on a regular basis
- Use bug tracking system for filing and managing issues
Qualifications :
- BS degree in computer engineering or equivalent field with 7 years hands-on technical experience.
- Advanced understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with SSDs or related storage devices
- Platform-level troubleshooting skills to include run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation
- Experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems
- Experience with Python/PowerShell/Bash scripting languages for both individual use and cross-team use
- Familiar with data manipulation/analysis (spreadsheets or more advanced tools)
- Experience with technical communication through bug tracking tools with attention to detail
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols including analyzer and power measurement tools
- Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies
- Experience with OCP Datacenter NVMe SSD specifications and SSD test system usage
- Experience interacting with stakeholders of a product development organization

The expected salary for this position is $115470.00 - $192440.00.
