• Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare and record journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support the month-end and year-end close process through preparation of journal entries reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Review invoice accruals and respond to accounting questions from office managers.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Review financial data and prepare supporting schedules for management reporting.
• Prepare payroll-related accounting including shared payroll allocations and intercompany transactions.
• Process and reconcile intercompany activity including cash receipts and payables.
• Support invoicing activities across multiple business units.
• Import and reconcile banking activity within QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile payroll data between payroll systems and the general ledger.
• Perform income reconciliations and assist with revenue analysis.
• Assist with registering new legal entities and maintaining state business registrations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Provide support during annual financial audits and other compliance projects.
• Assist with other accounting projects and special assignments as needed.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 23 years of public accounting experience (preferred audit or advisory background)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• CPA or CPA candidate
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar ERP/accounting software.
• Experience working with multi-entity organizations
• Familiarity with payroll accounting and intercompany accounting

• Enjoys digging into accounting issues and finding solutions.
• Takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion.
• Is naturally curious and always looking for ways to improve processes.
• Communicates effectively with both accounting and non-accounting team members.
