Staff Accountant I

Reporting directly to the Arlington Site Controller and based in Arlington TX

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Staff Accountant I who will play a vital role in ensuring our financial records are accurate compliant and meaningful. This is a hands-on onsite role where youll gain exposure to the full accounting cycle manufacturing experience learn from experienced mentors and see the tangible results of your contributions.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP including but not limited to payroll fixed assets travel and entertainment and other operating expenses.

• Reconcile bank statements credit card accounts and general ledger accounts monthly.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes including accruals and adjustments.

• Help prepare financial statements management reports and audit schedules under the supervision of senior finance personnel.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and resolve discrepancies.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.

Required Education Experience and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field

• 03 years of accounting experience (internships and part-time roles count!)

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite or similar) is a plus

• Strong attention to detail organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
