SI Solutions is seeking a detailed-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Houston this newly created role the Staff Accountant will partner closely with the Process Business Unit to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The expected salary range for this role in Texas is $63500 - $76800 annually. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
SI Solutions is seeking a detailed-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Houston this newly created role the Staff Accountant will partner closely with the Process Business Unit to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable and invoicing
- Prepare monthly journal entries including sales COGS other SG&A expenses intercompany transactions and intercompany eliminations
- Assist in company/subsidiary financial and tax audits
- Assist in company budgeting process and monthly cost variance
- Participate in monthly close and generation of monthly financials
- Provide support on month-end closing and ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Reconcile GL balance sheet accounts
- Assist in project review percent complete and revenue recognition to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Assist with State Annual Report filings
- Assist finance staff with day-to-day accounting operations and reporting
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar field (finance business economics)
- 2-3 years of experience in construction or professional services
- Project accounting various contract types (T&M fixed etc.)
- NetSuite and
- Understanding of Accounting Theory
- Highly detailed oriented and organized in work
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and communications skills
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Company budget experience
- General Ledger and month-end close experience required
- Experience in percent complete and revenue recognition
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards
- Microsoft Suite
- NetSuite experience desired
Pay Range:
The expected salary range for this role in Texas is $63500 - $76800 annually. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
