Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant you will support analyzing operations perform month-end accounting close maintaining accounting system and ledger and analyzing inventory valuations in the IFC operating ResponsibilitiesAssist with month end closing activities to ensure accuracy and completeness including but not limited to journal entry preparation with supporting documentation and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare Property Tax filings & file Monthly Sales TaxOversee and back-up Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and Payroll (Pay Runs)Prepare general ledger credit card and bank account reconciliations and schedules to assist in the annual financial statement auditProvide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactionsAssist with special reporting and analysis projectsRequired Education and ExperienceMust have strong communication skills be a team player and coachable and a self-starter. Exceptional at managing competing priorities. Ability to comfortably work in a high-volume environment and manage multiple projects for FCGs various brand degree in Accounting Finance or Economics (CPA Preferred).Prior public accounting experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm OR experience in a corporate accounting/reporting role (Preferred).Self-starter; ability to effectively work independently and as a team current expertise in US GAAP customer-facing experience and strong communication and proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience in Epicor Profit21 and/or Quickbooks is a -oriented and Deadline Driven with Excellent Organizational & Time Management be able to fluently read write and speak DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
