Sr. Warehouseman Tool Mechanic

KBR is seeking a skilled Tool Mechanic to support the inspection maintenance repair and calibration of tools equipment and small machinery used in industrial and construction operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.

This role is responsible for ensuring tools and equipment remain reliable operational and ready to support project execution across a dynamic work environment.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Inspect diagnose and repair tools and equipment including small machinery power tools hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and assemblies to extend lifespan and ensure reliability

• Disassemble and reassemble tools for repair or calibration replacing defective components as needed

• Operate and maintain shop equipment such as mills grinders calipers torque wrenches for accurate inspections and repairs

• Maintain inventory and order parts for efficient workflow and ensure tools are stocked and ready for use

• Document all maintenance and repairs accurately including logs of inspections tests and replacements

• Follow safety protocols rigorously when handling equipment heavy tools and hazardous materials

Required Education Experience & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training technical school certification or an apprenticeship in tool repair.

• 25 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining tools machinery or heavy equipment

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 5070 lbs stand for long periods bend squat climb and handle heavy tools safely.

Preferred Education & Skills:

• experience with hydraulic electrical and pneumatic systems
