Sr. Treasury Manager

As a Sr. Treasury Manager youll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. Youll be building out the treasury function of an established & rapidly growing digital lender. Not only will you own daily operations but youll be the thought leader providing long term strategy and goals for the treasury function. You will lead cash management activities prepare working capital forecasts own daily treasury admin & operations and own relationships with banking partners. The Sr. Manager will play a key role in executing funding plans ensuring appropriate liquidity across our businesses and improve & build best in class operational processes within our finance organization. These responsibilities translate into two major areas of activity in the below: 

What Youll Do

Cash Management:

• Manage the companys daily cash position to ensure adequate working capital to fund daily operations across business units.
• Initiate daily weekly and monthly wires related to funding and cash management activity across banks and warehouses. Track activity and support proper accounting for these transactions.
• Create and manage wire templates.
• Build update and maintain working capital forecasting models and reporting. 
• Create and run a daily operations playbook to manage all daily operational tasks with documentation automation and structure.
• Own internal relationships with key stakeholders such as accounts payable finance accounting procurement business unit operations investor operations wholesale commissions and capital markets/warehouse operations.
• Own and drive the entire weekly (and ad hoc) working capital process end-to-end from scheduling and running the meetings to tracking action items to close. This is not a support role: you are the single point of accountability for liquidity visibility across the business with a deep first-principles understanding of every core cash inflow and outflow.
• Manage flow of capital through multiple credit facilities and capital markets vehicles across lending and debt resolution from initial pledging of collateral & assets to borrowing mechanics and receiving cash to manage working capital across the business. Have an understanding or a desire to learn more and become an expert of fintech capital markets.
• Interest rate forecasting.
• Work closely with legal finance capital markets and accounting teams on Intercompany loans profit sharing tax treatments and other complicated transactions.
• Bring past experience with cash controls to implement more sophisticated control processes at Achieve. Lead treasury policy and control work.
• Administer electronic banking portals and implement appropriate protocols designed by the team. Maintain a list of active accounts open & close accounts based on operational needs adjust user permissions & authorized signer lists and manage ZBA structures. Handle bank account documentation.
• Lead daily allocation of loans to investors. Create and refresh related forecasts.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with banking partners and lenders.
• Support month-end close activities including entity specific financial covenant tracking & reporting. Organize execution of financial documents and maintain records.

Financial Analysis:

• Distribute a financial dashboard including cash balances borrowing capacity across warehouses for HELOCs and debt resolution all material inflows and outflows for the business and month to date performance against forecasts.
• Provide ad hoc analytic and modeling support on company metrics and liquidity.
• Support external audit requests and assist in internal testing.
• Leverage a robust understanding of financial statements to build and maintain financial models and forecasts for main working capital inflow/outflows as Achieve develops funding and growth strategies. Develop streamlined process for different working capital inflow/outflow modules to feed into one consolidated working capital dashboard.
• Lead administration of credit facilities including covenant compliance reporting drawdowns and payments. Support sensitivity analysis around covenants and triggers in all credit facilities using a strong data analytics skill set.
• Leverage data feeds & AI to improve & manage internal TMS systems.

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or Economics
• 8 years of experience in either financial planning and analysis treasury investment banking management consulting or a similar finance function
• Strong foundational skills in financial modeling and analysis with an attention to detail.
• Experience in supporting project management tasks maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout.
• Excellent communication teamwork organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to quickly respond to changing business needs and complex business environments.
• A critical thinker who can investigate financial models and offer thoughtful insights and improvements.
• A self-starter & builder eager to implement best in class practices.
• Experience with treasury management systems (i.e. GTreasury Kyriba and ModernTreasury) or building internal tooling leveraging data feeds & AI.

We are proudly offering hybrid options in the Phoenix AZ and San Francisco CA metro market. We are offering 100% remote work in other approved PST MST CST locations.

Salary Range: $130000 to $150000 salary bonus benefits.
