Sr. Technician Security Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Install program test commission troubleshoot and service commercial electronic security systems.

• Work with access control CCTV/IP video surveillance and intrusion detection systems.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware software networking and system integration issues.

• Respond to service calls preventative maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

• Perform system upgrades equipment replacements and modifications to existing installations.

• Read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

• Complete system start-ups testing commissioning and customer training.

• Coordinate with project managers other technicians and customers to ensure successful project completion.

• Maintain accurate service reports installation documentation and project records.

Qualifications :

• 3 years of experience installing servicing or programming commercial electronic security systems preferred.

• Hands-on experience with access control CCTV/IP video and intrusion systems.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic hardware software and networking.

• Ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and technical specifications.

• Comfortable working independently on installation projects and service calls.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout Northern Nevada.

• Access Control: Lenel Software House Genetec AMAG S2

• Video Surveillance: Genetec Milestone IP camera systems

• Intrusion: DMP Bosch
