We are seeking a tenured Sr Technical Program Manager with a deep technical background and a successful history of delivering high-impact multi-organizational and multi-year initiatives. This role is critical for driving the Luxury Shopping Experience for Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
- We are looking for a Sr TPM who will be responsible for defining and delivering programs with significant complexity and/or that have broad cross-organizational global or technology impact.
- Your work will focus on large engineering efforts that solve significantly complex or endemic problems.
- You will be trusted to operate with complete independence and are often assigned to focus on areas where the business and/or architectural strategy has not yet been defined.
- You effectively partner with all levels of leadership. You are adept at building consensus. You are able to represent verbally and in writing complex decisions trade-offs and potential solutions clearly to leaders up to 3 levels above to help them understand the decisions they have to make and what options they have.
- You influence organization priorities system owners business and technology direction.
- You manage cross-functional communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed and needs aligned.
- You recognize when current programs are susceptible to prior technology failure patterns and actively steer teams to avoid repeating these failures.

The Elevated Shopping (eShop) team mission is to serve premium and luxury customers and brands with personalized seamless and delightful experiences that reflect their discerning tastes and elevate online retail to a new standard of excellence. We combine state of the art technology scientific precision and breathtaking studio photography to create exceptional customer experiences.

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelors degree

- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products workflows or customer experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
