Sr. Supply Chain and Property Manager, Kuiper Government Solutions

In this role you will work directly with government customers engineering teams and operational stakeholders to execute and document strategies to provide KGS with optimal suppliers pricing flexibility quality and delivery addition this role will oversee the delivery logistics on a global scale to include inventory and property management of both Government and commercial assets.

You will work in a collaborative analytical and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment dive deep into data and be comfortable with processing tactical actions such as on-boarding vendors. Candidates must be able to Multi-task different business operation tasks within Amazon commercial industry partners and Government customers. The best candidates will have deep understanding of prioritization and task completion.


Key job responsibilities
Oversee the tactical implementation of KGSs supply chain risk management plan.
Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
Own KGS vendor management. Develop spend strategies identify potential suppliers analyze supplier capabilities select suppliers and determine prices terms and conditions of agreements; including managing daily purchasing activities to enable efficient and timely execution of engineering design build and test activities
Work with engineers on procurement strategy and Bill of Materials to ensure preferred vendor selection in accordance with customer requirements.
Be responsible for execution and review of the KGS Business System modules for logistics inventory and property management.
Be a business partner to Professional Services leadership team and executives providing insights to help shape the strategy of the business
Provide strategic guidance to area leadership teams bringing deep knowledge of supply chain processes logistics inventory and property management best practices.
This position is in Northridge CA. Some travel both domestic and international will be required.

Security Clearance: This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.


- 2 years of program project or product management or leading product implementation experience
- 6 years of related industry experience
- 8 years of data analysis using tools such as Excel Pivot Tables SQL Tableau or equivalent experience
- 8 years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or a related field
- Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel Pivot Tables SQL Tableau or equivalent
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience in global supply chain management managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
- Experience in program project or product management or leading product implementation

- Masters degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in data centers infrastructure service providers or related technology companies
- Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
- Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management benchmarking should-cost models RFX reverse auction contracting or equivalent)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
