• HV Validation:Design develop andmaintainelectricalcomponentvalidation processes specifically forhigh-voltage wire harnessesand self-sufficient wiring systems.
• Supplier Development:Oversee supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness for new products and design changes usingAPQP and VDAquality management processes.
• Audit & Compliance: Execute process and product auditsto ensure suppliers meet industrialization and performance expectations.
• Cross-Functional Interface:Facilitatetechnical requirement understanding between Suppliers and Scouts Purchasing Quality and Design teams to ensure total transparency.
• Task Force Leadership:Lead technical strategies and project teams to resolve complex quality issues acting as aTask Force Leaderfor critical technical topics when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement:Drive supplier improvements in cost quality and manufacturabilityutilizingLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Responsible for proactive and reactive containment at suppliers.
• Responsible for ensuringchange managementoccurs and isidentifiedproperly and proactively plan for product architecture requests.
• Responsible for SupplierPPAs(according VDA Vol.2) and ongoing activities within the supply chain from development to series production.
• Support NCR resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location & Travel Expectations:

• This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location inColumbia South Carolina.
• This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
• Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the companyfrom time to time.
• Travel: Domestic and international travel required approximately 40-70% of the time. Valid drivers license required. Passport required.

• Associates degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field (Bachelors degree preferred)
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditing Certification preferred
• 8 years of proven experience inAutomotive High-Voltage Electrical Systemsand High-Voltage Wiring/Harnesses.
• Advanced Certifications:Product Auditor for Wiring Harnessespreferred
• Quality Management Mastery:professional-grade knowledge of AIAG/VDA Core Tools (FMEA PPAP APQP MSA) preferred.
• UnderstandingofapplicableRegulatory& Safety requirements(IATF VDA ISO DIN etc.)
• System Proficiency: Expert level proficiencyin systems such as TEVONBeOn PPAISO 26262/ASPICEand TRL Audits.
• Diagnostic Skills:Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex issues debugprototypes andperform electrical measurements and define rework on high-voltage components.
• Communication:Strong technical writing ability and the assertiveness to explain complex issues in a concise manner to stakeholders.

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial Base Salary Range: $120000.00 - $145000.00
