Step into Your New Role
We are currently seeking a motivated detail-oriented Sr. Structural Engineer to join our growing Illinois structural team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on complex structural projects while making a lasting impact on communities we serve.
Whether designing new structures evaluating existing structures or collaborating with multidisciplinary teams youll play a key role in delivering safe innovative and cost effective engineering solutions.

- Design and analyze steel concrete timber and masonry buildings and bridges
- Prepare structural calculations plans specifications and technical reports
- Perform structural inspections and condition assessments
- Collaborate with architects engineers contractors and public agencies
- Review construction submittals and respond to field questions
- Participate in project planning budgeting estimating and scheduling
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes AASHTO IDOT and industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 15 years or more experience in the design of bridge and/or buildings
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
- Ability to communicate with clients utilizing excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience with bridges transportation structures municipal facilities commercial buildings or public infrastructure
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation policies and procedures
- Illinois SE license or progress toward SE licensure
- Experience using AutoCAD Revit Bentley Connect Open Roads Software and/or AASHTOware bridge rating software or other bridge design software such as MDX
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range:$110000 - $150000
Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.
