Your expertise will directly influence the quality scalability and security of enterprise software solutions while creating opportunities to innovate modernize and continuously improve how schools manage payments. What youll own

• Design and deliver scalable web applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) that enable secure reliable payment experiences for K-12 clients while supporting long-term product growth and platform performance.
• Drive software quality and engineering excellence by building maintainable well-tested solutions that improve system stability accelerate delivery and reduce operational risk.
• Influence technical decisions and development standards by identifying opportunities for improvement sharing expertise and helping elevate code quality across the team.
• Own the successful delivery of enterprise-ready solutions from concept through production ensuring business requirements are translated into measurable outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
• Strengthen product performance and client satisfaction through proactive troubleshooting continuous improvement and the resolution of complex technical challenges that impact business success.

What youll bring

• 5 years of experience developing Java-based software solutions with demonstrated success delivering scalable production-grade applications in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot RESTful APIs and modern web technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems diagnose issues effectively and deliver high-quality solutions that balance business needs with technical excellence.
• Experience collaborating within Agile Scrum teams contributing to shared goals while taking ownership of individual outcomes and deliverables.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build productive relationships across engineering quality assurance and business teams.

Its a bonus if you have

• Experience developing single-page applications using Angular or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with MongoDB Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases to support scalable application architectures.
• Experience writing automated unit tests using the Spock Framework and working extensively with JSON-based integrations.
