Sr Rail Track Inspector

STV is seeking a Sr Construction Inspector to join our firm in out Hartford CT office.

Responsibilities of the positiontypicallyinclude:

• InspectingRailroadInfrastructure:Examiningtracksswitchessignalsbridgestunnelsandotherinfrastructurecomponentstoensuretheymeetsafetystandardsandregulatoryrequirements.
• ConductingSafetyInspections:Verifyingcompliancewithsafetyregulationsandmaintenancestandardsbyinspectingtrainslocomotivesandrollingstock.
• MonitoringCompliance:Reviewingrecordsdocumentsandreportstoensureadherencetorulesandguidelinesrelatedtotrackmaintenanceequipmentinspectionscrewqualificationsandoperationalprocedures.
• InvestigatingAccidentsandIncidents:Intheeventofaccidentsderailmentsorotherincidentsconductinginvestigationstodeterminethecauseidentifycontributingfactorsandrecommendcorrectiveactionstopreventrecurrence.
• Preparing and Maintaining Reports for compliance with public highway railroad grade crossing facilities ad state funded railroad improvements
