Key Responsibilities:

KBR seeks an Sr Network Specialist to provide technical guidance and direction for transport network design and engineering network routing protocols advanced virtual networking technologies for missions to support operations.

Additionally the Sr Network Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

Design and define system architecture for new or existing systems particularly for data
transfers cross domain solutions and workload integrations.
Design implement and maintain hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud service providers.
Support current systems / manage complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation
Apply proven communication analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of Information Technology (IT) system investments.
Assist in the planning for large-scale projects through vendor comparison and cost studies
Support implementation configuration operations and maintenance of multiple systems

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site JBAB and Lorton VA

• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-25%

• Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Masters Degree

• 7 years of IT experience with a focus on architecture design development or infrastructure.

• 7 years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience with no less than 2 years experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment with at least one year of that total being within the past 5 years.

• Proven experience in developing and implanting enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.

• Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and architectures

• Familiarity with integration patterns and technologies (e.g. APIs microservices message queues cross domain solutions

• Strong organizational documentation and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing presentation materials for leadership audiences.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Salary compensation is $160000-$172000K.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
