This role is responsible for engineering automating and continuously improving the reliability scalability and operational excellence of Apples global enterprise network services.

As a Senior Enterprise Network Reliability Engineer you will partner across software infrastructure architecture operations and security teams to design and continuously improve resilient enterprise network services. As Apple evolves toward modern Access Fabric architectures you will play a key role in delivering highly reliable wired and wireless services supporting Engineering Product Development Corporate Services and Apples growing portfolio of critical business executive product launch and global is a hands-on engineering role that extends beyond Apples traditional campus environments. You will design build deploy and support complex network environments at offsite and temporary locations often working within unique technical physical and time-sensitive constraints. You will translate event and business requirements into resilient network designs and take ownership from initial architecture and planning through onsite deployment validation operational readiness live-event support and post-event will develop automation intelligent operational workflows and observability capabilities that proactively detect investigate and prevent customer-impacting issues helping transform enterprise network operations from reactive support toward predictive and increasingly autonomous reliability looking for engineers who are naturally curious take end-to-end ownership and are passionate about solving complex problems through engineering rather than operational workarounds. Design engineer and continuously improve highly available enterprise network services supporting Apples global engineering corporate lab executive and event the evolution of Apples enterprise network toward modern Access Fabric architectures delivering resilient secure and scalable wired and wireless build deploy and validate complex network environments for global events product launches executive engagements and offsite locations taking hands-on ownership from initial requirements and architecture through onsite implementation and operational software automation platforms APIs and infrastructure workflows that simplify deployment lifecycle management operational readiness compliance and configuration agentic AI and AI-assisted engineering workflows that automate investigation correlation operational analysis and remediation while reducing engineering observability capabilities using telemetry service-level metrics monitoring analytics and dashboards to provide actionable visibility into network health reliability performance and customer network telemetry wireless client behavior capacity service health and operational trends to identify systemic risks anticipate potential issues and drive preventative reliability across Architecture Software Engineering Infrastructure Security Product Engineering Operations and Events teams to translate complex business and technical requirements into reliable and scalable network solutions.n

8 years of experience in Network Reliability Engineering Site Reliability Engineering Enterprise Network Engineering or a related infrastructure engineering experience designing engineering and operating highly available large-scale enterprise wired and wireless network knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP IPv6 routing switching VLANs QoS multicast and network security hands-on engineering and troubleshooting experience with complex wired and wireless network environments including the ability to diagnose and resolve issues across multiple infrastructure developing automation or software-driven solutions using scripting APIs or comparable technologies to improve network engineering and operational using telemetry monitoring metrics logging or analytics to assess infrastructure health performance reliability and customer end-to-end ownership of complex technical problems from requirements and design through implementation validation operational readiness and continuous communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering architecture infrastructure security operations and business and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work hands-on in offsite and temporary environments to design deploy validate troubleshoot and support business-critical network infrastructure for events product launches executive engagements and other strategic degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.n

Deep experience with modern enterprise network architectures including Access Fabric Software Defined Networking (SDN) EVPN/VXLAN network virtualization and intent-based enterprise wireless networking experience including RF design high-density wireless client experience roaming optimization spectrum analysis 6 GHz and Wi-Fi 6E/7 designing and delivering network infrastructure for large-scale global events product launches executive engagements temporary venues or other highly visible production engineering temporary or rapidly deployed network environments involving high-density wireless complex RF conditions resilient wired infrastructure diverse WAN connectivity and demanding performance and availability building software-driven infrastructure solutions using technologies such as Python REST APIs Git CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code Ansible Terraform or modern DevOps engineering developing observability platforms using network telemetry service-level indicators metrics logging analytics dashboards and operational data developing or integrating Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) agentic AI workflows or AI-assisted engineering tooling to improve investigation automation operational analysis and engineering knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including IPv6 BGP OSPF VXLAN EVPN multicast QoS and network -on experience with enterprise networking and security platforms from Cisco Juniper Arista Aruba Palo Alto Networks Fortinet or equivalent with enterprise security architectures Zero Trust principles identity-based networking network access control and secure-by-design engineering with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure across AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform or equivalent cloud certifications such as CCNP CCIE JNCIP CWNP or equivalent demonstrated technical technical leadership sound engineering judgment and the ability to influence architectural and engineering direction across multiple for continuous learning engineering innovation and evaluating emerging technologies that improve reliability automation scalability and operational excellence.
