Sr. Manager Biz Ops RME, Reliability and Maintenance Engineering

Amazons Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) Workforce Excellence team seeks an experienced and collaborative professional to lead labor planning cost analysis and cross-functional workforce programs that deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes. RME maintains and optimizes facilities across our entire value chainfrom large modern purpose-built warehouses that use robotics and high-volume conveyance systems to sites positioned close to customers. We support technologies across Global Customer Fulfillment Sort Center/Air and Delivery Network operations to maximize operational efficiency and budget performance. The Sr. Manager Biz Ops will develop and deliver OP and OxG labor inputs in partnership with BU leaders produce consolidated labor cost and variance bridges and manage key cross-BU and cross-regional workforce programs. This role requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders including People Experience & Technologies (PxT) Finance Procurement and Talent Acquisition (TA) teams to drive multi-year labor strategies that optimize workforce spend while sustaining talent pipelines. This role demands a strong delivery record and proven program management experience to own strategic cross-functional initiatives that demonstrate clear return on investment. You will bring extensive experience in labor planning and cost modeling developing scalable processes coordinating and driving execution across regions and communicating status risks and financial impact of workforce changes to senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities
- You will develop and deliver OP and OxG labor inputs by partnering with BU leaders to build accurate workforce plans that align headcount to operational demand across regions.
- You will produce consolidated labor cost and variance bridges reporting financial impact and cost drivers for weekly monthly quarterly and annual business reviews.
- You will manage cross-BU and cross-regional workforce programs by coordinating with PxT Finance Procurement and TA to ensure alignment resource optimization and measurable ROI at each program stage.
- You will anticipate labor planning risks and balance cost constraints by making strategic tradeoffs between workforce needs and operational budgets communicating financial risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
- You will drive continuous improvement through labor cost analysis identifying efficiency opportunities and analyzing root causes to prevent recurring cost overruns across the network.

About the team
The RME Workforce Excellence team is the central arm for the RME field as it pertains to labor planning cost analysis and cross-regional workforce programs. Our team partners with business leaders and key stakeholders (PxT TA Compensation Finance and Central RME) to drive programmatic improvement in the areas of labor costs workforce efficiency and organizational goals.

- 7 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7 years of business development partnership management or sourcing new business experience
- 7 years of professional or military experience
- Experience managing P&L

- Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
