Job Summary

Job title: Sr Mainframe Developer Rate: $55/hr Role is remote Years of experience required: 10 Mandatory skills: COBOL DB2 MQ CICS Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Mainframe technologies COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM CICS and MQ for application development. Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and a strong understanding of related business workflows and operations. Solid understanding of code migration and release management processes including package creation code promotion across Development Test QA and Production environments along with post-deployment validation and backout procedures. Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and production support issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders cross-functional teams and offshore development teams. Experience working in Agile development environments and the ability to work Consultantly while contributing effectively within a team setting. Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims applications by transforming business requirements into scalable efficient and compliant mainframe systems. Design develop test debug and maintain mainframe claims applications using COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM CICS and MQ following established coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with business analysts QA teams project managers and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure successful project execution. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members coordinate onsite-offshore activities and act as a key contact for technical issue resolution. Troubleshoot production issues Eligible to workimize application performance conduct code reviews and support SIT UAT production deployments and post-implementation activities.
