The Opportunity
Adobe is looking for aSenior Machine Learning Services Engineerto help bring new AI and Generative AI capabilities into production across Adobes flagship creative this role you will work at the intersection ofapplied ML large-scale cloud services and GPU-optimized inference partnering closely with Adobe Research and product engineering teams to translatecutting-edgemodels intoreliable high-performance production services.
You will join a team responsible for the ML cloud services that power features used daily by millions of creators across products like Photoshop Lightroom Illustrator Express Stock and enterprise surfaces. This is a hands-on senior IC role with meaningful technical ownership and direct impact on customer-facing AI experiences.
Whatyoulldo
Design build andoperatebackend cloud servicesthat power ML and Generative AI features across multiple Adobe products
Build an agentic end to end pipeline for tech transfer modernization
Architect andoptimizeGPU-accelerated ML inference pipelinesfor scalability cost efficiency and reliability in production
OptimizeML models for production inference including techniques such as quantization pruning graph optimization batching and hardware-aware tuning to improve latency throughput and cost
Analyze and improveperformance quality stability and throughputof end-to-end AI workflows
Lead the integration of new ML models into production systems includingmodel validation regression testing and quality evaluation
Build andmaintainCI/CD pipelinessupporting a suite of ML-backed microservices
Collaborate closely withResearch Product and Engineeringpartners to productionize new ML capabilities
Ensure services meet production standards forobservability monitoring logging and incident response
Participate in on-call and production support contributing to a culture of operational excellence
What you need to succeed
5 years of experiencebuildingoptimizing and operatingML systems in production including GPU-based workloads
Proven experience designinglarge-scale reliable cloud serviceswithstrong performanceand availability requirements
Strong background inmodel serving and inference optimization including techniques for conversion compression and orchestration
Hands-on experience withcomputer vision and/or generative models such as GANs diffusion models CLIP or MLLMs
Expertisein building agents for workflow automation and orchestration
Proficiencywith core technologies such as:
PythonPyTorch TensorFlow
NVIDIA TritonTorchServe ONNX AIT AOT CUDA
Docker Kubernetes AWS
Solid understanding ofGPU systems drivers and deployment considerations in cloud environments
Ability to work independently on complex systems while collaborating effectively across teams

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $$265350 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.In California the pay range for this position is $183300 - $265350
At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
