SR JAVA/AI DEVELOPER HYBRID JACKSONVILLE FL
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Sr Java/AI Developer! This is starting out as a contract position running through March 2027 with potential to extend longer. This is a hybrid role in Jacksonville FL working 2-3 days/week onsite and otherwise working remotely. JOB SUMMARY:
Sr. JAVA Developers are responsible for the development programming and coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality integrity as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Developers lead efforts oversee work results provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Java Snowflake DBT Mongo Postgres Iceberg tables Dell Boomi
1. Snowflake Migration: Guide data migration services migration fast-access database migration and enterprise service integrations
2. Build reusable solutions that enhance data access application scalability security governance and long-term maintainability
3. Provide senior-level architecture hands-on development and technical leadership across enterprise applications data cloud and AI initiatives. Design and support solutions using Java Python Node React AI frameworks Cloudera Data Platform DB2 and Fast Access Databases.
4. Lead the centralized data classification GW Chat integration Agentic applications member longitudinal summary vulnerability remediation automation and legacy modernization
5. Data Platform Modernization: Deliver deep technical guidance on Cloudera Data Platform ecosystem; support current workloads modernization planning and migration readiness
Additional Responsibilities:
5 years related work experience Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
Required Education:
Related Bachelors degree or related work experience

- Design and implement AI solutions using agentic patterns and core AI components
- Design and Develop scalable systems across AWS and on-premises environments
- Actively code and contribute to production AI systems (not purely architectural/design)
- Mentor and guide development teams on AI best practices
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and frameworks
- Hybrid cloud architecture (AWS on-premises)
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML workloads
