Job Summary

The Sr Innovation Analyst role has a national salary range of $152000- $248000.

This role is responsible for the identification prioritization and detailed operational implementation of innovation activities using LEAN Six Sigma IT and other engineering tools and supporting the skills transfer while working with operations providing support to ensure successful implementation of innovative concepts identified as adding value to the business and customer and leading continuous improvement activity for the innovative solutions deployed.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on deployed robotic and technology solutions to improve and optimize.
  • Drive analysis for strategic projects including conducting primary and secondary research completing data summation and analytics preparing presentations presentation of key findings and general support
  • Work closely with vendors to extract data and actionable intelligence to continuously improve on emerging technology
  • Identify and deliver consistent innovative opportunities across each assigned site to ensure each site within the program scope has a standard DSC performance tracking/management solution
  • Deliver effective training and knowledge transfer to site users and others on use of the performance tracking tools/systems interpretation maintenance and issue resolution
  • Establish a balanced schedule of activity across assigned sites and sectors
  • Create and foster an environment within the analysis (ie LEAN DMAIC VSM etc) process that promotes open free flowing involvement and ideas
  • Ensure the value structure exists for the quantification of project savings / defect reduction for each workshop/process improvement approach (ex: VSM) conducted
  • As requested participate in the implementation of broad based innovation deployment initiatives
  • Champion best practice sharing during the deployment of innovations
  • Provide analytical design and technical support on research proof of concept and deployment projects
  • Meet with internal and external customers to define project scope and deliver opportunities as needed.
  • Develop knowledge for the use of problem solving tools at the site level



Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree inApplied Science Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Logistics or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations logistics distribution or transportation
  • Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization as well as with customers
  • Experience of cross functional working with operations and functions (IT/Eng)
  • Very system literate and process thinker
  • Familiarity with Word Excel Powerpoint and AutoCAD
