Position Title: Sr HVAC Technician (Confidential Client)

• Pay Rate: $40 $52 per hour overtime
• Signing bonus for first/last month of relocation if needed

Our Client is looking for a Senior HVAC Service Technician (Hot Water DX Systems Chillers & More) to join a growing customer-focused team. Youll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including hot water systems DX systems chillers and more across a diverse territory. Territory: Des Moines IA (with coverage across eastern Iowa western Illinois Missouri to Minnesota).

This role balances technical expertise with hands-on service and its ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while supporting a growing team.

Travel is minimal with overnight stays only when necessary. The first year may involve more driving to establish your territory. Core focus is on Daikin equipment; Johnson Controls experience not required. Opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology including VFDs and VRV/VRF systems.

• Diagnose repair and maintain HVAC systems including hot water DX chillers cooling towers fan systems VFDs and low voltage controls.
• Conduct equipment inspections start-ups commissioning and preventative maintenance.
• Provide technical training and support to clients and team members.
• Identify opportunities for new services and solutions.
• Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo Burlington Grinnell eastern Iowa western Illinois Missouri to Minnesota).
• Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems.

• 5 years of HVAC experience preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
• Expertise in hot water DX systems chillers VRV/VRF and low voltage controls.
• Expertise in VRV/VRF systems Daikin equipment and refrigeration service.
• HVAC license and EPA certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
• Valid drivers license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical capability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces.

• Technical training or certifications beyond high school (technical training preferred).
• Daikin training.
• Experience with VFDs and industrial refrigeration.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Previous experience in large-scale commercial or industrial facilities.
